Callie Ellana Sepulveda

Hello to all and thank you in advance for your time. My name is Sandra Vasquez and I am Callie's grandmother. Callie was born on March 18th, 2021 and on January 11th, 2023 Callie gained her wings and Heaven received another Angel. She would of been 2 yrs old. Her passing was so unexpected and devastating to our family. Callie was born at 23 weeks gestation and weighed less than a pound. Her parents Alexis Garcia & Donovan Sepulveda were told by Doctors that Callie was not going to make it through the night (she did), then they were told she would not make it through the week (she did), then they were told she was not going to make it through the month (she did), Doctors then proceeded to sit mom & dad down in a room and tell them that Callie had a stage 4 brain bleed and was going to have permanent brain damage. They were told that they needed to make a choice of taking Callie off of the machines that were keeping her alive and letting her pass on her own or they would spend the rest of their lives taking care of a disabled child that would never be normal and would depend on them to care for her for rest of her life. Despite what Doctors told them they chose to keep Callie and told Doctors to do everything they can to keep her alive. In doing so Callie progressed despite the doctors words. Callie was a fighter and beat all odds. She was so smart, normal, and progressing everyday. She was a miracle baby. After all that Callie fought for and endured, all that Alexis & Donavan went through to make sure that Callie had the best of everything and was attended to 24/7. Alexis was a stay at home mom and with Callie all the time. Callie was Alexis & Donovan's world. Sadly she was taken from us due to faulty equipment that was not working properly and didn't alarm as she slept. It is absolutely a tragic and something that could of been prevented had her machinery been working properly. Callie's parents Alexis & Donovan are mourning the loss of their 1st and only child. They are in need of some financial assistance to help lay their beautiful little girl to rest. If you can find it in your heart to donate so Callie's parents can give her the memorial service she deserves, it would be greatly appreciated. If you are not in a position to help please share this so that others that are able and willing can donate. All the funds will be used for her burial services, travel exspenses from NV to CA where she will be laid to rest with her great grandmother, Margaret Newman at Rose Hills Cemetery. Callie's parents and the family appreciate any and all donations to make this possible. Thank you from our whole hearts and God bless each and everyone of you.
