Meet our baby Willow, born on June 12, 2023. The sweetest, williest and silliest, loving, lap dog in the whole wide world.
Our baby Willow was diagnosed with Tetanus as of August 25th... This is a very RARE neurological disease which causes:
• Painful Muscle Stiffness
• Spasms
• Difficulty Walking
• Swallowing/Breathing Problems
• Stuck Facial Expressions
• Elevated Third Eyelids
• Fever
• Sensitivity to Touch and Light
These are all the things Willow has been suffering from the last 2 weeks (and more).
This is a result of a cracked nail, that lead to an infection, (undiagnosed due to prior vets negligence, and disregard to concerns).
One of our current ER Dr that has 13 years of experience told me that this is maybe his 3rd case he's ever seen in doggos. Thats how rare this is.
My husband and I have been in and out of Vets for the past 2 weeks screaming from the roof tops to figure out what was going on. Within the last 24 hours, I have been to 3 vets to get my baby the help she needs (Shout out to Winichahanat Veterinary Care, Port City Vet, and most importantly Vogel Emergency Vet for their compassion and listening ear)
Willow has been admitted with Vogel ER Vet, where they are closely monitoring her health, proceeding with aggressive treatment to target this disease.
With around the care clock that she so desperately needs, comes with a cost.
They have no estimated time of when she could come home. However in some of the vet techs experience this could mean shes admitted for several weeks, and even as long as a month.
We have exhausted all options and have maxed out credit cards, care credits, and all of the above within the last 2 weeks.
Within just the last 24 hours we are up 6 grand (not including all the prior visits leading up to this)
While she continues treatment, we are unsure of the time we may miss from work. Ontop of the back and forth travel it will require to visit her.
We are so desperately begging for help, to make sure she can continue treatment.
The current ER she is admitted under has been nothing but caring, accommodating, and just the best environment she could be in.
So please help pass the word, a share, a like, a donation, all of it makes the difference.
For those that know my husband Noah, & I, KNOW WE WOULD MOVE MOUNTAINS FOR OUR FUR BABIES.
Our journey has been rough with trying to bring in our own babies.
But God STILL blessed us with babies. They just walk on 4, with tails. They are truly our whole world and so much more. They have given us light, when the world seemed so dark and Grey.
Please please help us bring our baby girl back, and make our home whole again.
For those that may not like to donate on these type of platforms, please feel to reach out to me so I can connect you with Willows Vets directly.
Sending love to those that keep Willow in their prayers and spread the word.
