This is a story about a man, a man more faithful than most people will ever know. A man who dedicated his life to preserving another. It was no easy road he took to care for his wife who battled ovarian cancer for twelve years. Enduring the recession layoffs of 2008-2009, the loss of dignity, income and all status both in the business world and his personal life. None of that mattered, what mattered was that his wife needed him, now more than ever. Christine fought well because Juan was by her side supporting her through surgery and through every new treatment offered her. Now this man is faced with end of life details and plans; burial and a memorial service and an overwhelming mountain of financial debt. Which one of us could endure nearly ten years of unemployment and then the death of a loved one on top of that? This man did, now he needs his community to rally on his behalf.
