# Help Amy Get Back on the Road: A Veteran and Mother of 7 in Need
## Who is Amy?
Amy is a proud Air Force veteran who served our country with honor and dedication. Today, she's the loving mother of seven children and a pillar in our community, known for always putting others before herself. Amy is also an amputee, having survived a head-on car accident in 2018 that changed her life forever. Despite these challenges, she remains the woman who will drop everything to help a friend in need—now Amy is the one who needs our support.
## What Happened?
In 2024, Amy co-signed a title loan to help a friend in desperate need. For years, Amy patiently worked with this friend through numerous financial challenges, showing the same compassion and understanding that defines her character. Despite her best efforts to resolve the situation, Amy's van was repossessed last Thursday—her primary means of supporting her family.
## How Amy Serves Our Community
Amy's van isn't just transportation—it's her livelihood. She calls it "Eber Ubering," her unique way of helping community members get where they need to go while earning money to support her seven children. From driving elderly neighbors to medical appointments to helping fellow parents with school pick-ups, Amy transforms everyday transportation into acts of service.
Without her van, Amy cannot:
- Provide for her seven children
- Continue her community transportation service
- Meet her own family's daily needs for school, work, and activities
## How Your Donation Will Help
We're aiming to raise $4,000 to help Amy:
- Pay the fees required to retrieve her repossessed van
- Cover any necessary repairs or maintenance
- Get back on the road so she can continue supporting her family and community
## Why Amy Deserves Our Support
As a veteran who served our country, Amy has already given so much. In 2020, she underwent life-saving heart surgery to replace her mitral valve with a bovine valve. This strong heart, with its remarkable cow valve, continues to beat with compassion—even for the very individuals to whom she extended the title loan. Despite facing amputation and heart surgery, Amy remains a devoted mother of seven who still finds time to help others, exemplifying extraordinary selflessness. Now it's our turn to step up for someone who has always been there for others, no matter what challenges life has thrown her way.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will help Amy get back to "Eber Ubering" and supporting her family. Let's come together to thank her for her service—both to our country and to our community.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Let's help Amy get back on the road!
