Dear friends, family, and community,

My longtime friend, editor, publisher, and mother of my god-sons, Jessie Duke, is in a rough spot and needs our help. She and her family are in a difficult and heartbreaking situation and she needs to make an unexpected move from Michigan to Kansas immediately.

I’m raising money to help them get down here safely and get back on their feet. It’s basically an urgent, start-from-nothing situation, and as you know, it's a scary time to be in a position like this.
