About Call End:

Imagine your teenage son walking home excited about accomplishing his first goal toward his future. He then rushes home to share this amazing accomplishment with his parents, but his happiness soon turns to fear. Well that's what happened with our character Daniel.

Excited about just graduating from the Youth Law Enforcement Program, Daniel’s hope of having a future career in law enforcement is changed when one brief encounter turns his life upside down.

What we need

To take a film from script to screen it takes time, money, dedication and commitment . It also requires for us to hire some amazing cast and crew who will help bring the film's vision to light. The cast and crew will consist of: Director, producers, Director of photography (DP) , sound, lighting, craft services (food), production assistants and actors to name a few.

In order to bring this amazing film to a screen near you, we will need as much funding, resources and support as possible. So the team of Call End is asking for any amount you can contribute whether big or small to help us bring this film to fruition.

Why is this movie important:

Too often the world has witnessed the many times in which black and brown people are subjected to unlawful stops which sometimes can end up deadly. During the height of the pandemic, it only intensified and now the world had a front row seat to the injustices taking place. It is important that we continue to bring awareness of what can transpire when a short walk home can end badly.

Although Daniel is a fictional character, his story is not. The lack of trust and discouragement that our young people and adults have with their local police is very disappointing. If a young person's dream is to become a police officer, they should be able to experience more of the law enforcement officers who are actually trying to save lives and not looking to take one.

This is not just a sobering experience, but a joyful one. Where you can share in the brief excitement of a young teen who aspires to be just like his parents and his parents who are equally joyful in sharing that experience with their child.
