Len Steinbarth the owner of California Hair  Design Academy unfortunately experienced major damage during the La Mesa riots.  All of the windows and front door were shattered, the floors were flooded, and offices, the reception area and portions of the clinic floor were destroyed.   CHDA is a small, family owned Cosmetology, Barber and Esthetician school who has served the San Diego area communities for over 30 years.  After being closed for the last 3 months due to COVID CHDA goal is to re-open as soon as possible so they can continue to provide students with an opportunity to pursue their career goals.  Any donations would be greatly appreciated and used to pay to repair the damages sustained during the riots. CHDA also wants to thank the community for coming out to help clean up.
