California Fire Relief for our West Coast Family
Donation protected
Dear Family and friends,
As California’s first middle-class Black community, Altadena thrived as a rare refuge exempt from redlining. Over time, the neighborhood transformed from a segregated enclave to an oasis for Black homeowners.
Walker and Joanne Anderson purchased their Altadena home in the 1950’s and raised their four children there. Even after their deaths, the home remained in the family and served as the primary residence for their daughters. It is their forever home, full of love, joy and memories.
After the devastating Eaton fire, Sandra and Sheila Anderson have lost everything. Yet, they are not without hope. As family, friends, and neighbors, let’s join together and help them rebuild. Please help by donating to cover temporary housing, clothing, and essentials. Every bit of support counts.
Thank you!
