I have the pleasure of working with some amazing students from Cindy Avitia High School in East San Jose. This group comes together consistently to chart their collective path to college. Many will be the first in their family to attend. 

They've developed personal leadership statements, contacted local business and organizations to search for interships aligned to thier interests, and started researching the key steps needed in order to attain acceptance to a four-year university. 

During Spring Break, they will head down the Califonia Coast to visit four colleges - Cal Poly, UC - Santa Barbara, UCLA and Loyola Marymount University. They have planned the entire trip themselves, including raising some of the funds. This ask is to put us over the top to make the trip financially possible.
