May has been legally blind since the age of 3.  She started learning braille in preschool and has picked it up very fast.

In February 2017 she competed in the Indiana Braille Challege and she place 2nd for her grade level.  She was selected as 1 of the top 10 students nationwide for her grade level to compete at the National Braille Competition in Los Angeles, California in June!

We are so proud of her and can't wait for her to go. We are working on raising money to get her to the competition due to expenses to get there are not included with being selected as a competitor.
