California blew up my car. I need that car. Help fix it?

tl;dr: My car's engine blew out and I'm stranded in california

I have a thousand names but one you might know is digital watches. Under that name, I compete in GGXXAC+R, and also started a community project to free fighting game organizers from the shackles of corporate control, mostly by running them on linux on cheap hardware.

I was driving a small carpool to California for Slashback, and just near the finish line, with a pop, the car broke down on the highway. Had to tow the thing and the mechanic said the engine's blown out, which is apparently a damn expensive fix. Check the hole in the display pic, it's real dead. In my hands this car moves many a gamer to events, but more importantly, my partner also relies on it for work, hauling hay for rabbits, and visiting family. Also, I'm stranded out of state.

Also, I'm looking for work right now, so I straight up can't come up with the money. Someone said I should crowdfund it. Figured may as well. I dunno how do these. Help me out here?

P.S.: GoFundMe says I should enhance this with AI but AI tends to make up random lies I gotta weed out when I do stuff like that so fuck that noise. Weird that one must specify that informal writing is done "by hand" these days but here I am feeling the need to specify. Cursed times we live in I guess
