Our mother’s story is one of enduring love in the face of overwhelming challenges, including abuse, trauma, and betrayal by those who should have protected her—her parents and siblings. We, Caliene’s four children, are committed to honoring her memory by creating a Memorial Niche at Evergreen Cemetery and pursuing legal action to reclaim what was stolen from her, fulfilling her dying wish to establish an estate.

Despite the theft and unauthorized scattering of Caliene's ashes by her parents, this Memorial Niche will stand as a tangible symbol of love, resilience, and hope.
Despite the pillaging of Caliene's apartment, this Memorial Niche will provide a sanctuary to store cherished trinkets salvaged from her home.
Despite the false claims made by Caliene's parents to UMass Memorial Hospital, robbing her children of their final farewells, this Memorial Niche will offer solace and a sacred space to grieve.
Despite the fraudulent paperwork filed by Caliene's parents, asserting she had no heirs to steal her estate and LLC, we stand firm in our resolve to honor our Mom's dying wishes.

Our mother deserved better than the anguish inflicted upon her by those who should have safeguarded and championed her throughout her life. Justice will prevail.
