“... Callie Cinnamon – you are my world…”

On 10th June 2020, tragically for everyone who knew her, and at the young age of 19, Callie took her own life.  After struggling for some time with mental health issues, she sadly decided that she could no longer cope in this world.

It is so difficult for us all trying to come to terms with the painful loss of our beautiful Callie and it is still very raw and even more so for her parents who are now facing the agonising task of arranging a funeral for their daughter, something nobody would ever want to do. She touched so many hearts and sure she will be remembered for her craziness and fantastic and unique sense of humour, her loving ways, and her warm caring personality.  She certainly touched our hearts and it felt like she was naturally a member of our family as she was growing up. Not for one minute did we ever think we would be saying our last goodbyes to her and it absolutely breaks our hearts and does not feel real.

The devastation and grief that has stricken everyone who knew her will be hard to handle and inevitably there will be a hole in our lives forever without her around.

This bright, cheeky, talented girl will unfortunately never realise how many people loved her and how many lives she illuminated just by being around her.  She deserves only the best.  Nadia and I have set up this page to make sure she gets just that – the BEST send off EVER- and show her how much she meant to us all by donating towards her funeral expenses and any excess towards charity.

I’m sure she will be looking down watching us all celebrate her life. However small, any donation will help towards the great send-off she deserves. If you are unable to donate at this time, could we ask that you share this page to help raise awareness.

Any money raised that is not used to contribute towards the funeral will be donated to charity to raise mental health / suicide awareness to help and guide other people through difficult times. YOUR donation can help make a difference to avoid this happening to other peoples loved ones. The chosen charity will be communicated via this page.

PLEASE speak to your loved ones for help if you are struggling yourselves, remember there is always someone you can talk to.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Callie would be so pleased knowing her legacy will make a difference to others.

CALLIE, from the moment we met at 5 years old we were inseparable best friends and had a bond that couldn’t be broken, some have called us dumb and dumber but I’d like to refer to us as partners in crime, and at such a young age not knowing what life would bring I never would’ve thought I’d be writing this at 19, I can’t and could never imagine life without you. I’m so blessed to have spent all my best and worst moments with you, not just a friend, or just a friend that turned into family, but a friend that felt like home. No matter what was happening whenever we were together it was pure happiness and I think everybody around us could feel it too. Thank you for being that home feeling for me, and I’m sorry that we never got a chance to fulfil all the crazy adventures we had planned, anyone who knows Callie knows that she was the happiest soul, but at the same time the saddest and she has been released from her sadness. Please look out for your friends, hug your loved ones that extra bit tighter and let them know how much they mean to you. If only Callie was here to see the impact she has had on everyone.
