Calgary Marathon Fundraising for Children w Cerebral Palsy

Hi, my name is Bakir, and I have Cerebral Palsy (CP).

In 2024, my family moved to Canada, where I now have access to amazing doctors and top-notch medical care. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to heal and thrive.

Sadly, many children with CP in Kyrgyzstan, my country of origin, don’t have the same opportunities.

That’s why I’ve teamed up with Max-Nursultan Sulaimanov and the Kyrgyz Association in Canada to launch a Calgary Marathon Fundraising Campaign to support children with Cerebral Palsy in Kyrgyzstan! ❤️‍‍‍

As part of this campaign, Max, a passionate and dedicated member of our community, will run the 42.2 km full marathon at the Calgary Marathon on May 25, 2025 ️
