Caleb's Guatemala Mission Trip

1 Peter 4:10 "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace"
Deep in the highlands of Guatemala there is a thriving community of some of the most wonderful and caring people I have ever had the privelege to meet. Last September I was given the opportunity to travel with AMN Healthcare & HELPS International to Huehuetenango on a volunteer mission trip that changed my life.
On this trip, I was part of the "Stove Team" in which we would go out into the country in the highlands of Guatemala each day and install stove's for 5-6 families per team each day.
Some of the major health issues for these families are caused from the open fires that they cook over inside of their homes. Smoke inhilation and sometimes burns as well can cause long lasting health problems.
This year I have been given the opportunity to return to Guatemala with both AMN Healthcare and International Esperanza Project. This time though, I am raising the funds on my own to return. The funds are for the cost of travel, lodging and food while I will be there.
This truly was a life changing and eye opening experience for me and I would love to be able to return to have a life-long impact on other families within this country. Any donation amount helps and if you have more questions or would like to know more I'm more than happy to talk to you about it!
