UPDATE! (1/10/2024)
First off, I want to thank everyone that has already donated and supported me these last 3 years, and you all deserve an update.

Back in 2022 my mother in law passed away due to complications from cancer and left my wife and I her house. Later that year we decided to sell the house and used that money to purchase our food trailer! (pictures below). Unfortunately however, it took almost an entire year for the construction to be completed.

While we were waiting for the trailer to be completed, I was offered a temporary job with a very big company and it was a huge opportunity for me and my family, so we decided to put the trailer on hold to see how things panned out.

Now a year later, my contract is coming to an end and likely won't be renewed, which is unfortunate, but also gives me the chance to continue with my dream of opening my Traveling Tavern!

However, during the last year and a half, the trailer has been incurring costs while I haven't been bringing in any revenue, so needles to say, we are out of money.

We are a mere ~10k short of what we need to open and looking to you for help! If you would like to see this tavern become a reality, any donation you can give will go towards that goal. Soon you could be enjoying one of my meat pies, or sharing a full days worth of hobbit meals with a friend!

Thank you all again for your support from the bottom of my heart, I hope to be able to serve you all soon!

_____________________________________________________
For as long as I can remember I've always loved fantasy stories. Knights and dragons, wizards and warlocks, dungeons, castles, treacherous roads and lands, It was all so magical and mysterious, but there was always one constant in every story that drew me in, the tavern

The tavern was a refuge; a place to relax and recoup. You ate, you drank, you told stories. The tavern was always accepting of all travelers far and wide, it was a safe place, a home, even when you had none.

This is what I want to achieve. I want to bring that same feeling of comfort to the world. I want to create a place where anyone can come to feel at home, no matter your background.

I want to invite anyone to take a seat at my tavern, have a meat pie, or a hearty stew. Enjoy the classic favorites like mashed potatoes and sausage, or roasted beef with gravy and Yorkshire pudding. Maybe try the latest dish brought by a traveling merchant from a distant land! Whatever you choose, you will be welcomed and safe in my tavern.

To start my journey however, I need....well, my tavern, but like most things in the world, for a lonely peasant like me, a tavern cost gold.

And so I humbly ask for your help. I'm hoping to raise enough money currently for a modest food trailer to start, in the hopes that it will someday grow into my full fledged tavern. Even the smallest donation is appreciated, and will make me forever grateful

Maybe one day, you too can prop your feet up at my table, enjoy the merriment of your friends and family, in the home that you helped build.
