Caleb and his wife Kris were up from Belize visiting her family in Missouri. He was helping remodel a porch roof when the whole thing started to come crashing down on top of him. We are unsure of the fine details, but in the fall, he hit his head and neck on some metal. We are deeply grateful that God spared Caleb's life. He suffered a neck fracture and spinal cord damage, requiring an eight-hour surgery after being airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. His recovery is expected to be long, challenging, and painful. Please join us in praying for his full recovery.
We all know how atrocious the cost of medical care is in the US, though we are so grateful for the care he is getting!
Since they live in Belize, they unfortunately don’t have any medical insurance.
Every dollar will help relieve some of the stress of the cost of surgery, the hospital stay, traveling to rehab, time off work, as well as other bills that pile up with it.
Feel free to leave a note! That would be encouraging to them. ❤
Thank you so much, friends! The body of Christ is a beautiful thing!
