Help Support Caleb’s Lung Surgery
Donation protected
Caleb was recently diagnosed with a disease called Plastic Bronchitis. Plastic Bronchitis is extremely rare, it causes hard cast to form in the lungs making it hard to breathe. Caleb has spent the last year in and out of the hospital due to this disease. During one of his hospital stays he was eventually transferred to one of the best hospitals in Michigan down in Ann Arbor. We were hopeful Caleb would find answers here, but unfortunately he was told there was no cure, and his only option was to try and live his life with these crippling symptoms. This was completely devastating news to Caleb and our family. We have watched this disease take so much from Caleb, and we have watched his health continue to rapidly decline over the past year. We knew Caleb could not go on like this as we watched the disease continue to worsen.
So we began spending time in prayer and spent time researching and found the only place known in the country to not only treat this disease but also they have found a way to CURE it. God is good and we know he led us to these answers. This has brought SO much hope to Caleb and our family and we know he is heading down the path of being cured, getting his strength back, and continuing to do what has always been most important to him, serving the Lord in all he does.
Caleb is an amazing young man, he has a beautiful wife and two amazing young kids. Caleb has spent his life serving in ministry. He has always been a light to everyone around him and we want to shower this family with love. We know it has already been a stressful time and we would love to at least lift some of the financial burden from them.
That being said, we would love to join together with our friends and family to help support Caleb by alleviating some of the financial stress that has come during this time. Caleb will be heading down to Philadelphia on March 30th, and he will be there for a couple weeks. He will have multiple tests done and then a 6 hour surgery. We would love to help with the cost of airfare, housing, food, car rentals, etc. I would love to bless their family by helping cover these unexpected costs. Even if you can’t help financially, lifting them up in prayer means just as much!
Thank you all so much! Please continue to keep Caleb, Rachel, Hannah and Hudson in your prayers. We are so excited for the day Caleb gets his health back!
