I am Caleb’s dad and he has been diagnosed with aggressive B-Cell Lymphoma. He will be undergoing chemo treatment for the next 4-6 months. It has affected his ability to work, and he will be in the hospital every 3rd week for a week at a time. His chemo treatment will consist of 4 chemo drugs and is very aggressive.

This would have been his senior year at GVSU, and now he will have to wait a year. He is very disappointed as he will not be graduating with his friends. This is a tough thing to go through for a 26-year-old.

Caleb has had some difficult times in his young life. Severe allergies restrict his diet and force him to carry epinephrine and watch everything he eats. It is so severe that he is off the charts. Additionally, he had to have lung surgeries in 2019 and 2021 to adhere his lungs to the chest cavity and stop them from collapsing.

Now along comes the cancer, and we do not know what the future will look like for him. We are looking to raise enough money to assist with school, living expenses, medical bills, and to help him jump-start his life after cancer.
