Caleb's Cancer Care

"There are two options, with your white blood cells low we can no longer do chemo. You can go live your best life or participate in the trial immunotherapy... which may end up causing your detaching lungs to attack themselves" Words no one wants to hear! Without a doubt, Caleb wants to do anything he can to live. He is not ready to give up....and neither are we! Immunotherapy it is, but only after a second opinion at a well known cancer center based in Texas! Not only will they need whatever fight is left in them, but all the help they can get to be together to do it. This will include some days off from work, travel expenses to hospitals, lodging and extra medical procedures at not only one but two hospitals. Not only hospital bills, but bills from everyday life continue to roll in.
Thankful for everything they have been given and for the few benefits they have had, Caleb and Bethany never ask for anything. They would fight this alone and quietly if they could. But, we aren't going to let that happen. Whatever we can do to ease the situation we will. Many have given at benefits and in prayer. That is something that the two are truly thankful for. We continue to ask for both as their battle continues. Whatever prayers and donations you can give are sincerely appreciated!
UPDATE: Unfortunately the second opinion in Texas found to be the same results as here. Caleb has been told there is nothing more they can do. It pains us to share that he is at home on hospice. We know Caleb and we know God and he is a fighter who God never gives up on! Although we pray to be able to keep him here with us, we know it is in God’s hands now. We continue to love on him and pray for a miracle and comfort for both he and Bethany! Please pray for our guy!
