Our small town and the White family took a hard loss last night. We lost Caleb White, a senior at Boyd High School. Caleb has younger siblings, Zander a junior and Zoey an 8th grader. Zoey is on my daughters Cross Country team, and I’ve spoken with a family friend who explained the need of funds for a funeral. Ashley the mother was left in a terrible situation with no money to even honor the loss of her child with a funeral. As a community Boyd Texas has pulled together to take care of a family in an extreme time of need more times than I can count. The White family needs us now more than ever. I will be in communications with Jackie Holland, a close family friend to the White family, and all donations will go to her to get to the family.
