Tara Hartwick-Doel & Matt Doel in memory of Caleb Thompson

Hello, my name is Robin and not many of you know me. I met Tara Hartwick through my son's friendship with her youngest Carter. If you don't know Tara personally you may recognize her as the friendly face at Seed to Sausage.

I woke up this weekend to a Facebook post stating that Tara's son Caleb had been in a horrific accident and that he was in the ICU on life support at KGH. While hoping and waiting for a miracle to happen they were faced with the heart breaking news that her sweet boy unfortunately was not going to pull though this.

Caleb is now in a position to give life to another through organ donation. This is a decision no parent should have to make for your child. The burden this family is going to have to deal with in the upcoming days and weeks is huge.

I have not known Tara or her family for very long but what I know for sure is she is a mother with a huge heart and this mother is going to be dealing with heartache like no other. In saying this I am hoping that you can look into your hearts to help these people out. Help lift the burden and allow her and her family to take the much needed time to grieve and heal without the added stress that everyday life brings.
