Hi, I am Brandie and I want to tell you about my boyfriend Caleb.

Caleb recently had a brain aneurysm that ruptured and he is currently in ICU. On 10/22 he woke up with a terrible headache and vomiting and those symptoms didn't get any better over the next few days. Almost 7 days into the headache and vomiting we got him to the ER and we found out he had been bleeding in his brain from a ruptured aneurysm for that week. They life flighted him to another hospital that could handle his issues and he had emergency surgery on his brain to repair the aneurysm bleed. Caleb has had a small stroke and his right side was effected that he will eventually need therapy to help gain strength back.

The doctors keep telling me that they are amazed that he is doing so well for the type of brain aneurysm he has and he managed to live without medical intervention for 7 days.

He has had a few surgeries and he has another surgery on Friday to place a permanent drain in his brain to help with his pressures in his brain.

Caleb is an amazing dad to our 14 year old and he is our whole world. We are here at the hospital with him as much as we possibly can be and are pretty much living up here with him when I am not working. We don't want him to be alone while he's trying to recover and he has had a few set backs that require emergency intervention over the past week.

We live right at 2 hours from the hospital he is in so it is a bit of a commute when I do leave to get clothes or if I have some work to do but then our kiddo and I travel back up to be with him.

Thank you for wanting to help us. He has a long road ahead of him with doctors appointments, another surgery, medications and physical therapy/occupational therapy.
