This is a fundraiser for the family of Caleb Henshaw. All funds raised will go directly to Caleb’s mother, and will be used to support youth climbers and adventure enthusiasts in his memory and to offset death-related expenses.

As many of you know, Caleb Henshaw, beloved coach and member of the Asheville and Durham/RTP climbing communities was killed by a drunk driver on September 8th in Asheville, NC. Caleb spent much of his childhood exploring the Eno River State Park, hunting, fishing, doing martial arts, skateboarding, teaching himself guitar, playing frisbee golf and hanging out with his many friends. Caleb started rock climbing around the age of 14, and soon began working at Triangle Rock Club. He also worked at the Riveter Climbing Gym in Asheville, NC, where he was a beloved coach and route-setter. His sense of humor, effortless charm, passion for the outdoors and fitness, unique style and both inner and outer strength will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. We have heard from so many of you how Caleb has touched your lives, and how his kindness and adventurous spirit affected so many.
