Caleb is a former Texas A&M Alumni who played football, ran track and power-lifted at Texas A&M. He graduated Texas A&M with Honors and won the award of one of the Most Outstanding Students in his graduating class in the Health and Kinesiology/Education Department. He went off to get three Masters Degrees after and made history in the 2022 NFL draft as the first Power 5 athlete to compete in 3 different sports and enter the draft with 3 degrees. During his journey to the NFL, while in college he lost his mother to cancer and had a season ending injury that required surgery. He bounced back from that and entered the draft. After going undrafted he had looks with a couple of professional teams and currently an NFL free agent while helping college bound high school students get seen and reach their college goals.

The Caleb Eagans Inspires Foundation invests in a better future by empowering young individuals, their families and communities to find positivity, encouragement, and inspiration through fighting adversity. The foundation focuses on helping and providing resources to high-school seniors who are college bound in multiple ways which includes: helping those who has lost or have anyone battling cancer in their immediate family, help support and mentor young students who are seeking college, help potential college athletes who are in high-school get recruited, help high-school students attend summer camps for better exposure as well as host camps of our own, offering assistance to those facing life-challenging hardships and last but not least pancreatic cancer research. Caleb Eagans Inspires Foundation was established as a tribute to Caleb’s Mom, Danna, who lost her battle with pancreatic cancer September 16, 2015 and its work honors all of those students who lack support, motivation, inspiration and encouragement. The Scholarship for high-school seniors attending college will be called the Caleb Eagans’ Inspires Scholarship in memory of his mom. The requirements for the scholarship have already been set and there will be more information about the scholarship on how to apply and requirements in the future.

My mom was a huge supporter and definitely my number one fan. At the start of my 2nd year at Texas A&M she passed from a sudden diagnosis of an aggressive stage of pancreatic cancer and part of me went with her. It was tough watching what cancer did to her, knowing there wasn’t much I could do and that she didn’t even want me around much to remember her in that kind of shape. Dealing with losing her, still in school and being in athletics was very challenging so I want to help those who are going through a similar situation in school. I strive for excellence in everything I do, and even when I accomplish or work hard for something and get it, I still wonder if I’ve done enough. It was something she instilled in me at a very young age, it has allowed me to become the man I am today. Her love, support, encouragement, words, and authenticity was genuine. “I want to be for others, what she was to me. “ -Caleb Eagans
