Caleb Crabtree surgery/recovery

On September 12, 2018, while returning home from work, Caleb was sitting at a standstill on Interstate 59 due to an accident. While sitting still on the Interstate in his Toyota Yaris, a Ford F250 slammed into the rear of his car at full speed.  Caleb's K9 Ruka was also in the vehicle with him and also sustained injuries.  When first responders arrived on the scene, Caleb was found unresponsive and not breathing with Ruka guarding him.  Caleb was rushed to the ER, intubated, and examined.  He sustained multiple bodily injuries that include, 12 broken ribs, one broken arm, 5 pelvic fractures, fractured vertebrae in the neck and lower back, and a hematoma.  Caleb will soon undergo surgeries for his ribs and his pelvis.  Once he made it to ICU, the doctors estimated that it would be 12 weeks before he could place any pressure on his pelvis.  Caleb has a long, hard road ahead as he faces recovery, inability to work (at least for the next few months), and many medical bills. 

We are not exactly sure what the medical cost will be, but we estimate them to be extremely high as he will be in ICU for quite some time, followed by rehab.  Caleb's wife, Adriane, works as a nurse but will be unable to pay for all the medical bills on her salary alone.  We are estimating the incurring costs to be greater than $50k.
