Caleb Bross Memorial Project: '86 Chevy Wrangler Restoration
Donation protected
In memory of Caleb Bross, we want to come together to raise funds with the goal of restoring his beloved '86 Chevy Wrangler.
Caleb passed away suddenly as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, May 18, 2024. He was 18. A memorial service will be held June 1, 2024 at the Hanover Legion from 1pm-4pm with words of remembrance beginning at 3pm.
Caleb was the life of the party. He had a heart of gold and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, driving his ATV in the bush and just making people laugh. He also had a deep passion for anything with an engine. Caleb dreamed that he would open his very own mechanic shop someday and loved working on fixing up his ‘86 Chevy Wrangler that he adored ever since he was a little boy.
The truck originally belonged to his step-dad, Adam LeBlanc. It was the very first truck Caleb drove, propped up on his lap in a parking lot. He loved being able to reach the horn from his booster seat in the middle. Over time, as the truck was no longer in use and sat idle, it fell apart, but that never stopped Caleb from dreaming up the vision of how he would one day make it his own.
Last year, after the truck was sold to a neighbour, Caleb saved up his own money and bought the truck back right away! What a power move. He was always talking about truck parts he was researching and planning to buy for the project. It's a big project, as the truck needs a lot of work - approximately 20k worth. The goal is to raise $10,000 to cover half of the cost needed to restore his Chevy and bring his dream to life in his memory.
All donations are appreciated, whether monetary or volunteering time working on the truck. Please join us in honouring Caleb's memory the best way we know how.
