Calderone and Critelli Families

We are a large family of best friends lucky enough to have been blessed with the friendship of Chris Calderone and Rob Critelli. On November 9, 2015, Calderone, 20, Critelli, 21, and Paul Fiorentino, 21, were on their way to the University of Delaware to see Walk The Moon in concert. On their way, at a complete stop on the Turnpike, a reckless driver rear-ended them at approximately 70mph around 5:30pm. They were pushed into the car in front of them and the vehicle went up in flames. In an instant, two beautiful souls were lost and only one escaped out of the burning vehicle. Chris' girlfriend Leah Amici, a student at University of Delaware, was nervously waiting for their arrival. After not hearing from them for around an hour and a half, everyone was concerned and sick to their stomachs that they hadn't contacted anyone from the car. Minutes later, the tragic news began to travel between close friends and family, and it was confirmed that our dear friends Rob and Chris had passed away. These irreplaceable people were gone all too soon, leaving behind an uncountable amount of broken hearts. The lives of these beautiful families changed forever. 

We are raising this money to aid these families with the funeral costs and help with all other expenses  associated with Chris and Rob, as both were college students. We are planning on raising the money as soon as possbile, ideally within a month. These donations are to make sure that these families are able to financially cover these costs in their time of need. As a family of best friends, we can all say that our lives have been completely flipped upside down. Chris and Rob both had the ability to make anyone they meet smile and laugh. It was impossible to not fall in love with them the first day you were introduced. No one should ever have to lose a son or best friend, especially at such a young age. We are beyond thankful for every single donation made to our campaign, regardless of how big or small. Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. Chris and Rob will be forever be in our thoughts.
