Calderon House Fire
Donation protected
Hello my name is Biany, on behalf of my family I am sharing their story to help them with anything possible. My family means the world to me and it breaks my heart to see them going through this tragedy. On January 6th, 2024 in the city of Temecula, my uncle and aunt along with two of their adult children, 2 year old grandchild, and pets lost their house due to a fire. The fire began in the garage and quickly spread to the kitchen and dining room. The whole house has major smoke damage. According to the fire department, the cause of the fire was electrical. At the time of the fire, only one of my cousins was home with their pets. Thankfully they were able to get out safely. Anyone that knows them, know how much their pets mean to them. Unfortunately the fire ruined all their personal belongings including lots of sentimental items. This tragedy has left them with very little to save. Fortunately my cousin works for a Hilton hotel in Temecula and the hotel gifted the family two free nights, the Red Cross has also helped them out with money for groceries and some clothes to get them through for a couple of days. Their neighbors have also helped with what they could. Thankfully they did have renters insurance but it will be a while before they receive anything and start to be able to rebuild what they had. In the meantime they need to find a new place to live. These funds will be going toward a new place to live, necessities, any expenses from missing work. We are all just very thankful that everyone is okay. Anything is appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
