We lost our beloved Kris recently due to unforeseen medical complications. Anyone in Kris's orbit throughout his life knows how massive a hole this loss leaves behind and how impossible it will be to fill his shoes. Kris had an easygoing way of expressing his gentle, loving, and genuine nature to all he crossed paths with. He was an amazing father, as anyone familiar with his relationships with his two girls could instantly see, a loving husband, a loyal friend, and a positive, caring influence on his family, students, and community. 

Kris was an unparalleled listener whenever called upon, able to impart his life experience and wisdom in ways that appeared effortless, yet meant so much to those lucky enough to have received them. His sharp, witty sense of humor and love for life, and for people, made him a joy to be around, no matter the time and place. The sincerity of his spirit will live on in Stacy, Kenley, Amelia, and all of those whose lives he impacted.
