Calabrese Family

Hello friends, it is with great sorrow that after two and a half years of battling cancer Rachel Calabrese passed away the morning of December 26th, 2022. Rachel is also survived by her loving husband Nick, sons Nick and Max, and daughter Maddie.

Rachel was a devoted and loving mother who always had the warmest smile no matter the circumstances. She was loved and adored by all of those that knew her. She carried a light within her that lit up every room she stepped in. Rachel was an inspirational mother, devoted wife, adored teacher, and the kindest and most loving person to anyone she encountered.

Her sons Nick and Max are members of the Anderson University lacrosse team. During their time with our team, they have brought the “RayStrong” mindset with them, which embodies her strength and hope that she carried in her long battle with this disease. While coping with the loss, the AU Lacrosse team wants to help the grieving family by any means that we can. With treatments and procedures over the past two and a half years and now funeral costs, we're looking to lighten the burden for this family.
