Hello there,
My name's Lauren and me and my Sausage Dog, Baxter own Cake Room!
We opened two years ago in Hastings and we sell huge homemade cakes, lunches, cocktails, artisan coffee and fancypants loose leaf teas. Check out Our Instagram
But there is so much more that we want to achieve!
This year, we’ve had a fair few unexpected financial hurdles, new business competition, flood after flood after flood, which have all held us back a bit…so we need a little help from you guys!
Our most longstanding problem is our shop front.
There has been long term water damage, so we want to bring it back to its former glory. Plus, we want to add a couple of little touches of our own.

The other change we would like to make is to our kitchen.
It was originally designed for just making cakes, but we want to do more! That means we need more counter space and more equipment to whip up poached eggs, hollandaise, maple eggy bread and the like!
Lastly, there are a few other bits that need doing to the interior so that the shop can do more in the evenings. Some new furniture, projector, bar front, staging, etc, will mean we can run film nights, cocktail evenings, live performance, supper clubs and more.
So here comes the big question…CAN YOU HELP US DO THIS?!
We need to raise £3,000 in order to usher in this new chapter for Cake Room.
