Caitlyn's Fight to Prevent Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Chase, and I am humbly requesting your financial support to assist Caitlyn in receiving a double mastectomy with reconstruction. My girlfriend is a hard-working, loving stepmother to my 3 children, and these surgeries could potentially prevent her from getting breast cancer. The mastectomy will help lower her chance of getting breast cancer from 89.3% down to just a 5% chance of cancer.

Caitlyn started nursing school in January, found masses in her left breast in February, and has since been diagnosed with the BRCA1 gene mutation, had 3 biopsies, and 2 surgical lumpectomies, all while being in an accelerated nursing program and working full-time. She just graduated nursing school in August, and I dont know how she's done it all. Even though she tries to hide it, she has struggled dealing with not only the mental stress that has taken a toll on her along the way, but also the physical pain she's endured and is still experiencing from her procedures.

Your donations will help Caitlyn pay off what insurance didn't cover from her lumpectomies, the out of pocket expenses for her upcoming mastopexy & mastectomy, and help her pay her bills while she's unable to work during her recovery. If they go well and she doesn't end up needing more surgery, she will be out of work for a total of 12 weeks at the very least.
