Please Help Send Caitlyn To JrNYLC
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
Our daughter, Caitlyn Elizaga, has been nominated, based on her academic achievement and demonstrated leadership potential, to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference (JrNYLC) this summer 2017 held in Washington, DC.
Caitlyn, now in 8th grade, was nominated by her former 7th grade teacher and current National Junior Honor Society head leader, Ms. Kathy Shelley, who recognized her as a student with the scholastic merit, maturity and strength of character needed to represent her school, Peter J. Palombi Middle School, at this unique leadership program. We are asking for your support to ensure she is able to attend and experience this amazing life-shaping opportunity. Your donations of any amount and encouraging words will be greatly appreciated and extremely helpful in Caitlyn accomplishing a step towards becoming a prominent leader in her community.
By attending JrNYLC, Caitlyn will prepare for the future and take the first step on a path to success in high school, college and her career. Caitlyn will learn to become a better leader by setting clear goals, improving communication skills, embracing models for solving complex problems and building effective teams. Caitlyn and her peers will gain confidence and practice their teamwork and public speaking skills when they create their own student led grassroots organizations in the voices of change project. Caitlyn will also set goals for continued personal leadership improvement and return home equipped with the tools to tackle current issues facing her school and community today. Washington, DC will serve as a living classroom for Caitlyn at JrNYLC, providing amazing site experiences in and around our nation's capital. She will learn about the characteristics of past and present leaders at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History and study leadership choices at historic locations such as Harpers Ferry National Historical Park in West Virginia.
The program she will be attending will start on July 30th. Everyone, please kindly share, donate, and share again to help make this once in a lifetime opportunity happen for her. All donations will be greatly appreciated. No donation is too small. Every little bit helps. Thanks in advance and God bless your generous hearts!!!
