Hi Everyone!
I'm Caitlyn (a.k.a. Amy)! I am a junior in high school and I want to be a videographer when I finish school. I've been nominated to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum: Digital Media, Film & Journalism through the New York Film Academy this coming summer.
It will be my first time to New York City and my first trip out of Texas alone. I have been fortunate to have participated in school sponsored leadership in Texas and to RYLA in Corpus through Rotary. This opportunity will build on that and take me into my future career.
I really want to participate, but the tuition and travel is out of reach. I didn't want to ask for help, but my mom (the world's best mom ever) says we don't have the money. Our budget has been really, really tight since UTB closed and her one-year-position at UTRGV ended 8 months ago.
I have 5 months to raise the money and would be eternally grateful for any assistance. If you cannot donate, it's ok. Please share and repost this to your friends, so the word gets out. Thank you!!!
