IMA|ESS colleagues of Caitlyn Kaufman’s mom, Diane, have set up a memorial fund to assist the Kaufman family with expenses. All funds raised though this GoFundMe will be given in their entirety to Caitlyn's family.
The IMA|ESS family is heartbroken that one of our own would experience such a devastating loss and we hope to ease the burden by helping with any expenses the family may incur.
In Caitlyn's mother's words, "our hearts are truly shattered. Moving to Nashville was her lifelong dream".
As reported by the Nashville Tennesseean, Caitlyn is formerly from Chicora, Pennsylvania, a small town in Butler County, 50 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. Her whole life, her mother said, she dreamt of moving to Nashville.
She was an award-winning nurse who, most recently, worked on the frontlines caring for COVID-19 patients.
In addition to her 221-pound Great Dane Zeus, Caitlyn loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins. Her hobbies included boating, wakeboarding and water skiing.
"She had a great work ethic," her mother said. "She was studious, she was determined and she was truly just a beautiful person from the inside and outside."
