Caitlyn Jenna Medical Funds for Breast Cancer
Aloha Family and Friends.
If you know us personally, you know we never ask for help. Unfortunately, my Fiancé 'Caitlyn Jenna Tapang' was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on July 15th 2021. She is the sole provider and back bone for our family of 7. We have 4 Boys (1, 5, 10, 12) and 1 Girl (11). This is a journey no one wants to take but this is the road we were given.
After testings and more testings Caitlyn was called in to her OB-Gyn’s office on July 15 and got diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Never in my life would I think I’ll be writing this post, She wrote via FB.
I didn’t want to post about it but I’m learning to accept it. This isn’t a pity post but more of an awareness one because we all think we’re invincible like “tHaT cOuLd nEvEr HapPeN tO mE.”
I found a lump back in May but being that I was still breastfeeding I thought nothing of it; there was no pain, I thought it was just a clogged milk duct. So I treated it as so. I only had it checked because I had my annual appointment in June. The regret of not acting faster on it, it still gets to me.
Ladies, PLEASE give yourself self exams and report any changes you have to your body. Your spouses need you. Your kids need you. Your family needs you!
In this short amount of time I’ve learned to appreciate life a little more. Life can get so stressful at times we don’t realize how much time just passes us by. Don’t waste another day arguing over the small stuff.
Every break down I had my fiancé was always there to make it better. If anyone knows him you know how encouraging he is and how much positive light he brings. I know we’re stronger together and we’ll get through this. I love you forever My Jason! I look at my children and know that I only have one option and that’s to stay positive and fight. I will not let this defeat me. I may be small but I’m a tough little motha f*** lol
This is an unexpected journey but it’s my new journey that I shall embrace.. CAITLYN
