Caitlin’s Memory Walk

In February 2026, we lost our beautiful Caitlin.

Caitlin was an incredible mummy to her two precious babies, a loving daughter, a devoted sister, and a loyal friend. She was caring, kind, and deeply loved. Losing her was the greatest shock of our lives — and a pain we know we will carry forever.

Caitlin was missing for a week. It was the longest, most heartbreaking week we have ever endured. The fear, the uncertainty, and the waiting are things no family should ever have to experience.

During that time, we were so fortunate to receive support from an extraordinary volunteer-led charity - Community Rescue Service.

The dedication and compassion they showed Caitlin’s family and Friends will never be forgotten. Community Rescue Service carried out searches over multiple days, giving up their time to help bring Caitlin home.

Their tireless efforts are the reason Caitlin came home to us. For that, we will be forever grateful.

To honour Caitlin’s memory and to thank this incredible charity, we will be walking from Belfast to Gilford on 8th August 2026 totalling 26 plus miles.

This walk is for Caitlin.

It is for every family who may one day need these services.

This charity is run solely by volunteers and rely heavily on donations. They help so many families every single day, often in their darkest moments. They deserve every bit of support we can give.
