Help Send Caitlin Allen to the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C.
Dear Friends and Family,
I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request to support an incredible person who inspires me daily—Caitlin Allen. Caitlin is a remarkable woman, a U.S. Marine veteran, former firefighter, and now a sheriff’s deputy. She serves her community with unwavering dedication while supporting her wife, Adrienne, and their son, Ashton.
Caitlin’s resilience and determination shine every day. Despite the challenges she has faced, she wakes up at 2 a.m. to train before work, embodying discipline and perseverance. She even takes time to check in on me each morning, ensuring I’m ready to tackle my own day.
Running has become Caitlin’s outlet—a way to process life’s hardships and discover strength in each stride. The Marine Corps Marathon this November in Washington, D.C., represents more than a race for her; it’s a powerful step in her journey. While she insists running is her new way of life, this marathon is her first major milestone in pursuing this passion.
I want to help Caitlin achieve this dream, but I can’t do it alone. I’m asking for your support to cover her expenses, including the entry fee, flights, accommodations, and meals. Together, we can send her to D.C. to represent the grit, determination, and love for service that defines her.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. Let’s show Caitlin how much she means to us and give her the opportunity to experience this incredible event.
Thank you for helping me celebrate this amazing woman and her journey.
With gratitude,
Her brother, Mike
