Caitlins cycle to success

Donation protected

This is Caitlin - she’s 9 years old and suffers from a neurological developmental disorder known as dyspraxia. It affects her memory, gross motor skills, co-ordination, balance and more.  Up until 2 weeks ago, she couldn’t ride a bike, the co-ordination and balance required had always been a struggle but desperate to be like her friends, she practiced everyday and overcame her battle with the bike.

Caitlin is also a brownie and had been set the
challenge of completing a 100 something
challenge to get her charities badge. So, she has decided to cycle 100 miles after school over the next 6 weeks to raise a little bit of money for the girl guides Kenya trip but also the assisted learning/rocket room in her school.

The teachers in the rocket room at Mintlaw Primary school have helped Caitlin immensely with her learning (which is tailored to her needs), her gross motor skills and most importantly her confidence. So, she’d like to give something little back to them and raise a little bit of money as a thank-you to her school.

We know that times are hard just now but if you could spare even £1 it’ll all add up and would really make her day knowing that we’re all behind her with her challenge. She’d like to raise £200.00 in total so if you can help in anyway even if it’s by giving this a share we’d be ever so grateful.

Thanks - Caitlin, Lesley (her mum) and Steven (her dad who will also be cycling alongside her).
