Help Caitlin reach the finish line of this cancer treatment.
Caitlin was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in August 2021. Her treatment, which has already begun, involves chemotherapy, surgery, and possibly radiation therapy.
Caitlin is determined to overcome her cancer. You can help. This fund has been set up to lessen Caitlin's financial burdens so that she can focus on her health. Her battle, including both treatment and recovery, will take the better part of a year.
Donations will help Caitlin to cover the costs of
- insurance premiums during her many months of treatment and recovery.
- insurance deductibles and co-pays for treatment and prescriptions.
- costs for any treatments that may not be covered by her insurance.
- medical supplies used at home during convalescence, such as bandages and disinfectants.
- genetic testing, to help personalize and target her treatment program.
- transportation to her many medical appointments.
- lost income from missed work.
- a wig, specialized clothing, and other necessities to ensure her comfort.
This fund is administered by Jessie Des Jardines. Caitlin and Jessie have been been friends for more than 25 years—for most of their lives. Only Caitlin and her mother (Anne Richmond Boston) will have access to the funds. Your donations will be directly transferred to their bank.
