Caitlin and Sunny Need Our Support

Hello friends! I need your help! This past week our beloved Sunny, aka "Finally Sunshine" was involved in a freak accident and got attacked by another horse. She is injured all over but the main concern is that her back leg got all sliced up, all the way to the digital flexor tendon. She's currently on site at the vets office receiving care after a successful surgery. She was a perfect patient the whole time and is being such a trooper. Miss Sunshine belongs to Caitlin Copeland who most of you know, and even more of you have heard good things about. If you know Caitlin you know she would never ask for this kind of help, so I'm doing it for her. We need to raise money to pay for Sunny's surgery and stay at the vet, which is going to end up being about 10k, as well as the extensive aftercare treatment she will need. Caitlin has tirelessly cared for every animal she comes across, many of yours included, often to her own financial, physical, and mental detriment, and never complains or asks for help. I think it's time for us to show our gratitude to the woman who has given so much to the horse community and asked for nothing in return. From midnight hauls hours away to the vet for people she doesn't even know, to organizing relief efforts in the community for Western North Carolina after hurricane Helene, Caitlin has proven she deserves our help more than anyone. Please help me help Caitlin to continue providing outstanding care to her animals, and showing love and care to everyone she comes across. Thank you all so much, it means the world.
