Cait & Karen's Red Sea Adventure 2024

Caitlin & Karen are 3rd Year Marine Science students studying at the Scottish Association of Marine Science through the Univeristy of the Highlands and Islands & are embarking on the first ever Red Sea Tropical Ecosystem Field Course.

This course is fully self-funded at £2000 each & we are looking to raise some of these funds through the generosity of some like minded individuals!

This year saw the introduction of the new Marine Biology pathway at the university, and this course allows us become among the first Marine Biology graduates from SAMS!

This amazing opportunity takes place in El Quseir at Roots Red Sea & will allow us to study the biology, ecology, conservation & current challenges of coral reefs, seagrass and mangrove environments.
