Cait Conquers Cancer

Our beloved Cait was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer last week. Due to its aggressive nature, her treatment will begin quickly. Thankfully, and most importantly, scans have showed that it has not spread, and she is in a curable state.

To know Cait, is to love her, to laugh with her, to dance with her, to dream with her, or to go on adventures with her. Cait has always been such a bright light in this world. She leaves an everlasting impression on everyone she meets. Not only is she an amazing friend, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and aunt, her career has led her down the path of a true servant's heart. Through Occupational Therapy, Cait has also touched the lives of so many with her bright smile, brilliant wisdom, witty humor, and incredible bedside manner.

When we heard the news, we were obviously devastated. But Cait, pointed us to her rock and her foundation, the Lord. She asked us to pray. And so we did. And as each day approaches closer to treatment, we keep seeing God work through her results, her treatments, and her doctors.

I know that so many of you will find this news completely and utterly shocking. Many of you have asked how you can help. I ask that you would consider donating to this cause. Cait has had a series of medical expenses pop up. Although she's fortunate enough to have insurance that will cover a large portion of the cost, there is still a large, uncovered financial burden. 

This page is run by some of her closest friends. With the permission of Cait, we will continue to update you on her progress through this forum. Please keep Cait in your prayers. We know that the the road ahead will be faced with trials, but we have faith in what is to come.
