Devastating floods in Nepal have affected families and communities who urgently need our support.

GOPIO Cairns Inc is organising this fundraiser in partnership with North Queensland Nepalese Community Inc and Cairns Bhutanses Community and other local organisations.

North Queensland Nepalese Community Inc. will receive the GoFundMe payouts directly. All net funds received after GoFundMe transaction fees will be transferred to Nepal’s Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. Proof of the final transfer will be shared publicly for transparency.

We are also bringing the Cairns community together for a Fundraising Dinner for Nepal Wednesday, 2 September 2026
