On 2nd November 2025, Cain was involved in a freak accident while playing football. After a long wait for emergency services, he was taken to hospital where it was confirmed he had suffered a serious femur break. Following surgery, Cain now faces months of rehabilitation and assisted walking, with hopes of returning to football in about a year.

As a self-employed worker, Cain is unable to work during his recovery, putting financial strain on him and his family. We’re raising money to support them through the difficult months ahead, allowing Cain to focus fully on his recovery especially with Christmas approaching.
