On the 24th of February 2026, the world dimmed as the sun set on the life of 27‑year‑old Caine. His family and friends are still in complete shock and disbelief, trying to comprehend the loss of someone who brought so much light into every room he entered. Their hearts are truly broken.
Caine was one of a kind. He had a quirky, unforgettable sense of humour that could lift anyone’s spirits. He loved his family unconditionally and faced every challenge life threw at him with a smile. Born with heart disease, he fought through an incredible 13 operations throughout his life. He never let his condition define him. He was strong, brave, and resilient - a true warrior in every sense of the word. Sadly, he did not make it through his most recent operation.
Despite everything he endured, Caine was never sad. He made everyone laugh, he lit up every space he walked into, and he carried a joy that was contagious. One of his favourite ways to unwind was playing on his Xbox; a small but meaningful part of who he was.
What makes this loss even more heartbreaking is that Caine was just months away from becoming a first‑time dad. His baby is due in June 2026, a child he was so excited to meet.
The emotional pain his family are experiencing is something no mother, father, sibling, or partner should ever have to face - especially at his age. A huge part of their lives has been taken from them far too soon.
This GoFundMe has been created to help give Caine the beautiful send‑off he truly deserves.
All funds raised will go directly towards his funeral expenses. Anything remaining will be given to his partner to support her and their baby as they prepare for the arrival of their little one.
Your support - whether through donations or simply sharing this page - will help ease the heavy burden on Caine’s family during this unimaginable time. It will allow them to honour him with the dignity, love, and respect he earned every single day of his life.
Thank you for helping us celebrate and remember a young man who fought every battle with courage, loved deeply, and made the world brighter just by being in it.
