Caiden's 8th Grade DC & NY Class Trip

Caiden is raising funds to go with his 8th grade class to Washington D.C, Gettysburg, Hershey, and New York City next June. On this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, Caiden will have the opportunity to explore our nation’s most important historical sites and experience incomparable learning moments with his friends. The cost of the trip includes Caiden's round trip flight, 6 days/5 nights hotel accommodations, admission and transportation to all attractions, a course leader/guide, night-time chaperones, and emergency insurance. Caiden will have the opportunity to receive college credits for this trip as well. Some of their stops will include Capitol Hill, the Pentagon Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, MLK Memorial, Statue of Liberty, the 9/11 Memorial, Ellis Island, the Rockefeller Center, and the Gettysburg Battlefield. Caiden is very hopeful to be able to join his friends on this trip and we would appreciate any donations to make this happen for him.

Below is a letter Caiden wrote to everyone:

"Being a military child, this is a very rare opportunity for me, not just academically, but to have the ability to celebrate the closure of middle school with friends. Usually we move in the summers, and for that reason, this opportunity is special. I understand that this trip is only a luxury, rather than a necessity, but the experiences and memories gained would be invaluable to me. Participating in this excursion cultivates a well-rounded education beyond history and agriculture. This trip will allow me to gain a better understanding of American history and government, which is so important for me as I get older. This trip to NY and DC is an exciting and educational opportunity that I would love to be able to partake in with my class. I will be forever grateful to have the opportunity to participate.
