Caiden Nickles Memorial Fund
Donation protected
We tragically lost my sweet nephew Caiden unexpectedly this week. His obituary can be found at hitefuneralhome.com
Caiden had just turned 15 years old this past Monday. He was great young man to be around. He went to East Noble High School and was loved by many. He was funny and fun loving, a joy to know and be around. So full of life that that it's hard to believe he is gone. Those who knew him well, know what a big heart he had. He wasn't afraid to show you how much he loved you. Every time I saw him, he always initiated a big hug and a sincere, "I love you, Aunt Megan," when I arrived and before I left.
The special bond he had with his mother was so beautiful....making it even more difficult to see her, along with his father and brothers go through such an unimaginable loss. Words cannot describe how heartbroken his family is.
This is going to be a long painful road for them all. The last thing they should need to worry about is expenses, but the reality is, those expenses are there. The funeral costs alone are over $10,000 and due to a very recent job change there was a lapse insurance leaving the full cost to be paid out of pocket.
I'm asking for donations to help ease the burden of expenses from the funeral, burial, and time off work. Megan and Nathaniel have 3 other boys to comfort and care for. They need time to grieve and be with their other children. Being able to do so without having to worry about covering the full amount of these large expenses on top the usual daily expenses would be a great gift.
Any donation during this difficult time is appreciated beyond measure. Memorial donations can also be made through Grace Christian Church. The family is thankful for the outpouring of love and support they have been receiving from so many wonderful people. You're kind words, comfort, gifts, and help with meals has meant more to the family than anyone can express. Thank you all!
