CAH Emergency Surgical Care and Ward 4 North

Hi, my name is Bronagh Cassidy.

Last year I had a lengthy stay on Ward 4 North CAH after suddenly becoming seriouly unwell.

I can personally attest to the extraordinary care, dedication and expertise of the surgical and hospital staff who quite literally saved my life.

I want to give special thanks to Ms Russell, Mr Epanomeritakis, Mr Thompson, Mr Neil, Dr. Emily Maneely and all the incredible staff of Ward 4 North for their unwavering support and professionalism.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to the amazing nursing team, who’s one to one care, kindness and constant presence made an immeasurable difference to my recovery.

As a way of giving back, I, along with members of my family will be taking part in a charity abseil down the Europa Hotel on the 14th of September 2025 to raise funds for the ward and staff who gave me so much.

Every contribution will go towards enhancing patient care, upgrading essential equiptment and supporting the wellbeing of these outstanding professionals.
